Overview:

The Black Tights use thermal fleece throughout the body. Behind each lower leg is a reflective tab for extra visibility. The chamois and bib straps are the same that you love on our Ultimate Adventure bibs and Knickers. These have a snug compressive fit to keep you comfortable all winter long. We've added some length to the shoulder straps of these from previous years to make them a little more comfortable.

Fit:

The thermal material that we use for these is slightly less flexible than our bibs which makes for a tighter fit. We recommend sizing up one size with these.

Inseam Length:

We measure the inseam length from the center of the pad to the outside of the leg opening with the tights laying flat on a table. These measurements aren't designed to match up to the inseam length jeans you wear.

First, an admission

First, an admission. I was brain dead after a 3hr Nordic ski at 15d. Got an email saying that there was a Winter sale on. Opened it up, thought that i’d ordered a new pair of knickers. Somewhat surprised when i opened the package and they’re tights. But, they fit great, and Spring rain season is coming, so I’ll keep them…

Exactly what I needed now that its below 40°F most mornings. I’m comfortable riding in these down the mid-teens so far, though only for about an hour or so. They are a bit tight, I bought the XL because I wear XL in all the other TBB bib products, but they are still very comfortable.

Exactly what I needed. Thigh pocket is clutch and a feature that some of the big brands still havent caught onto yet.

Excellent Value Thermal Tights

I’ve been really impressed with The Black Bibs thermal tights. They’re extremely comfortable and true to size. I’m 6'1" and 205 lbs, and the XL fits me well. They are definitely a race fit—snug and supportive—so if you prefer a little extra room, you may want to size up.

Quality-wise, they rival my Castelli Espresso Thermal Bib Tights, which says a lot. The materials feel solid, the thermal fabric kept me warm on colder rides, and the standout feature is the chamois—honestly one of the best I’ve used in this price range.

Overall, fantastic value, great performance, and a pair of tights I’ll be reaching for all winter.

Cool morning and thermal tights

Yeah! First cool morning ride of the season and my Ultimate Thermal Bib Tights arrived in time! Great fit nice chamois and pockets for my phone and ID. The fit was tight and I had to size up and they arrived sooner than expected in time for the Philly Bike Ride.
