      Overview:

      Here at the Black Bibs we make bibs for all shapes and sizes. Not everyone has long femurs so traditional bibs can be almost knee-length on some folks (including yours truly). For these we’ve taken 5cm off of the inseam on our Black Bibs Plus. These are also great for guys who want a more “old-school” look rather than the look that Lance made popular some years ago. The straps are our standard length and the chamois and 5cm leg opening are the same.

      For reference, the model in the photos is 6'1" wearing a size small. They are 155lbs inseam 32.

      Overall (and as BlackBibs promises) these bibs are a good value, especially compared with the many other brands selling similar goods for many times more. On the pair I received, quality was good and the chamois was comfortable during rides.

      Two small things that I did not care for, both having to do with the suspenders. The first is that there is not a lot of give, and a little bit of stretch would be nicer. The second is that rather than being a single piece, each suspender consists of two pieces joined by a fairly substantial seam at the top of the shoulder.

      But again, given the attractive pricing and generally good quality, these are minor niggles.

      Nice bibs

      I was a little concerned about the fit of 3XL considering my large rider status. I’m very impressed with the overall fit and finish of these bibs. The chamois is in the right place and the right size and shape.. love the leg grippers and moderate compression of the material..
      I’ll be ordering a few more in the near future.
